Q: Do I have to sterilise the outer casing of the bottle?

A: The outer casing should be washed in soapy water before each use. The outer casing never touches the milk and therefore does not have to be sterilised.

 

Q: Can I poor boiling water into the inner chamber? 

A: YES. the inner is made of high quality silicone. It will not be damaged or release toxins when put in contact with boiling water.

 

Q: Can I microwave the bottle?

A: YES. The entire bottle including the inner can withstand high temperatures.

 

Q: Can I store cold milk in the bottle?

A: YES. Expressed or powder milk can be stored in the Silbottle and chilled in the fridge.

 

Q: Can I freeze the bottle?

A: YES. Milk can be stored in the inner and supported by the outer casing. We advise you leave the Teat or Storage container lid screwed on whilst it freezes.

 

Q: Is the Silbottle compatible with other (Avent, TT, Mam, Medela) breast pumps?


A: The Silbottle is not specifically compatible with other breast pumps on the market. However it is possible to express into the bottles supplied with the breast pump and pour the milk into the Silbottle feeding bottle for storage (freezing, refrigeration). The medela bottles supplied with their breast pump are BPA-free.

 

Q: How do you measure the quantity of milk as there does not appear to be any markings on the bottles?

A: Each rib on the Silbottle Inner chamber equals 30ml. These ribs therefore make it really easy to accurately measure how much milk is put in or is left in the bottle.

A: All products featured on the eSuckle.com website are presently available in Australia and New Zealand.

 

Q: How do I warm breast milk in the bottle?


A: Once the swirler, teat and strong seal cap are correctly attached to the top of the bottle, milk in the inner Chamber can be warmed by removing the white base and placing the bottle in a bowl of warm water. The wide base of the Silbottle should allow it to stand in the water easily.

 

Q: Cooling the milk in the bottle?

A: Once the swirler, teat and strong seal cap are correctly attached to the top of the bottle, milk in the inner Chamber can be cooled by removing the white base and placing the bottle in a bowl of cold water. Adding ice to the water will increase the speed of cooling. The wide base of the Silbottle should allow it to stand in the water easily.

 

Q: What are the 'Milk Storage Container Lids'?


A: The 'Milk Storage Container Lids' transform the Silbottle into a Milk storage container. Simple put the 'Milk storage container lid' in place of the teat with the plastic tab upwards and the smooth side facing into the bottle then screw the strong sealing ring back onto the bottle. The storage containers will then allow you to freeze or store the milk without the need for the teat.
